What are text links?

Text links are links with the normal HTML markup. Here are two examples of text links:

chrome://navigator/content/navigator.js
multizilla.mozdev.org/news/news.html

Now, select one of the links and drag it to the tabbar. Drop it on a tab, to load the link, or drop it on the tabbar, to open the link in a new tab.

How can I move tabs?

Drag the source tab and simply drop it on the target tab. The arrow that appears as you drag and drop indicates where the source tab will be moved to. Note: you must move the source tab to at least half way across the target tab for the arrow to appear.

How can I move tabs to the first spot on the tabbar?

Drag the source tab and drop it on the first tab.

How can I move tabs to the end of the tabbar?

Can I copy tabs to other browser windows?

Yes you can. Drag the source tab to that other window and drop it there. Drop it on the tabbar to open a new tab, or on any available tab to replace the page in the target tab.

How can I prevent dragging a link to the tabbar selecting the new tab?

In about:config, set the pref multizilla.dnd.tabstripdrops.selected to true.
