Tab Menu
Introduction
This screenshot shows the MultiZilla Tab Menu. This menu can be activated by clicking
the
button on the MultiZilla toolbar.
- New Tab
- The Tab Menu allows easy access to some of the most used MultiZilla features.
- Show/hide Googlebox, Customize tab label, show/hide Personal Toolbar, view fullscreen/normal mode, show/hide MultiZilla toolbar
- The Hide GoogleBox item is self-explanatory (but is only visible if you have the optional GoogleBox for MultiZilla installed. You can find this on our installation page). The Customize tab label button allows you to change the label on the current tab. Hide personal toolbar, hide multizilla toolbar and View full screen mode do exactly what they say on the tin.
- Open Folder/Groupmark
- The Open Folder/Groupmark option allows you to open any folder in your bookmarks as a group of tabs. You can also open any existing 'groupmarks' (ie groups of bookmarked tabs).
- Save this tab session
- The Save this tab session option works in conjunction with the 'Load previously saved tab session of startup' option in the Preferences and allows you to save a group of tabs that you currently have open and have them opened automatically on startup. The second option in this group, Select startup Groupmark allows you to open a 'groupmark' on startup.
- Select Startup groupmark
- This option allows you to set a groupmark to be opened when Mozilla is launched.
- Import tabs
- The Import Tabs facility allows you to copy all the tabs from one window into another (whilst leaving the source tabs open). Selecting the item will reveal a list consisting of the titles of the currently selected tab. Selecting one of these, copies all of the tabs from that window into the current window. You can also copy tabs from all open windows into the current window.
- export tabs
- The Export Tabs facility creates a new window containing either the tab that you select from the list, or all the tabs from that window.
New Tab: These are all self evident except for 'Bookmarked Page' and 'New Location'. The former has a submenu that allows you to choose one of your bookmarks to open and the latter does the same thing as selecting File -> Open Web Location....
Select startup groupmark: This allows you to select a groupmark to be opened when Mozilla is launched. Note: only groupmarks can be used for this, bookmark folders cannot.
Import Tabs: This option lets you copy a currently open tab from another window into a tab in the current window.
