We made a new pre-release of MultiZilla v1.1.33 available for download. You need mozilla build 2002120204 or greater for this version. The most important thing about this version is that we fixed mozilla bug 182184 and this mozilla regression caused several bugs in MultiZilla.

2002-12-11

MultiZilla v1.1.32 fails on current mozilla builds because of several modifications. HJ hopes to fix this in about one or two weeks, but he is very busy with work related assignments at this moment, so bear with us.

2002-11-18

Today we release MultiZilla v1.1.32. This is a major update with several new features and a lot of bug fixes. Make sure to read the release notes and take a look at our new and improved features and documentation pages.

2002-11-06

Time for another bugfix update. Recently the following bugs have been fixed: bugs 2341, 2342, 2349, 2353, 2393, 2396, 2400, 2402, 2408, 2413, 2418, 2431.

2002-10-30

A recent mozilla API change forced HJ to update the source and that's when bug 2396 was introduced. You might want to update to our latest pre-release version, available from the installation page, so that possible privacy issues won't occur. Just for the record, older MultiZilla versions won't expose the referrer, they are safe, I just checked. Manage Fake Referrer now also works and new alerts confirm your changes. Totally cool is our new left mouse click support for this feature. Again, you better install it right now.

A pre-release of MultiZilla 1.1.32 is available for download. However, this version is for Windows/Linux only. You can install it from our installation page.

2002-10-23

We also now have major improvements in drag and drop functionality, with documentation available here.

2002-10-21

MultiZilla has gone critical with another two releases in as many days. v1.1.29 fixed bugs 2222 and 2330 and v1.1.30 has a major code cleanup, reducing the size of MultiZilla to about 235K, as well as fixes to potential security issues.

2002-10-19

A major regression in v1.1.28 forced us to release a new version of MultiZilla. The great thing about this release is that it loads pages faster than all prior versions of MultiZilla. Make sure to read our release notes for more info. Don't forget, the XPinstall file is already 122KB smaller.

2002-10-18

Today we had to release yet another new version of MultiZilla. This is an important update because of a, now former, security issue in mozilla. See also: Mozilla bug 162393 We can't tell you what it was, well we can but we won't, to prevent idiots to use it.

2002-10-17

Today we releases an updated version of MultiZilla (v1.1.27) with two more or less critical bug fixes. The fixed bugs are: 2306, 2309. We consider bug 2306 to be very important for all your future installations of MultiZilla, while bug 2309 can be so confusing for people that they might consider to stop using mozilla and so MultiZilla. The new XPInstaller is 122Kb smaller, because we removed the splashscreen from it, less download :)

2002-10-17

Today we releases yet another version of MultiZilla with non critical bug fixes. The fixed bugs are: 2302, 2291. 2305,

We changed the index and installation pages. We replaced the screenshot, on the index page, with a more recent version of mozilla. A lot of people had troubles with the MultiZilla installing so we also changed the installation notes, on the installation page. We hope that this clears the sky for new and future installations.

2002-10-16

Two new releases of MultiZilla in quick succession to fix critical bugs. The current version of MultiZilla is now 1.1.25. Bugs fixed up to v1.1.25 are: 2287, 2291.

2002-10-14

Today we released MultiZilla v1.1.22. It's a week delayed but that's only because of HJ's busy work schedule. Install it, test it and tell us what you like or don't like at all. Please search for duplicates, before filing new bugs.

Mozilla recently updated their skin version number from 1.0 to 1.2. This breaks all current add-ons and themes. We made an updated XPInstaller to address this problem. It's still an experimental version but you should not have majors problems with it. You can install it from our installation page.

2002-08-29

The file multiviews-v1121.xpi was horked on the server, and Raj inserted a small note about this on the installation page. I replaced this file and Ismail installed this file to check and the file was Ok.

2002-08-26

We had to do a major CVS cleanup because of troubles and we hope to have everything back on-line a.s.a.p. Raj messed the cvs tree up trying to get things back up and Joshua is called in for his expertise. Btw, my dad is hospitalized and in critical condition so I have to do a lot of traveling and won't be able to work on the projects.

Our downloads have now moved to the new Mozdev server (downloads.mozdev.org) to help ease the pressure on Mozdev site due to the recent surge in interest. You should now be seeing a marked increase in the speed.

2002-06-07

Multizilla 1.1.14Beta is released. This is a major new version that no longer needs its own overlays.rdf, making it 100% transparent to Mozilla. Any third party add-on that works in Mozilla will now work in Multizilla as well!

This also means that we no longer need to make changes to config.js or need our own -chrome startup option. Woo hoo!

2002-06-07

All Multizilla bugs prior to 1510 have been closed since the new MultiZilla (1.1.10+) has been totally rewritten so those bugs are mostly no longer valid.
